On the morning of April 12, the People's Committee of Ea Ning commune (Dak Lak province) informed that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing two young children.
The victims include: Y.Z. D. B (born in 2016) and H.N. B (born in 2013), both residing in Tah hamlet, Cuor Dang commune, Dak Lak province.
According to initial information, on April 11, the two children came from Tah hamlet (Cuor Dang commune) to their grandmother's house in Tac Mnga hamlet (Ea Ning commune) to play. At about 3 pm on the same day, the two young children followed their uncle to the lake in Tac Mnga hamlet to catch fish.
About an hour later, not seeing the two children, the family organized a search and shouted for people to support.
At 5 pm on the same day, people discovered and brought the two children out of the lake in a purple state. Although they were quickly taken to a medical facility for emergency treatment, both children died.
