Initial information, at about 3:50 pm on June 8, people discovered that the melaleuca forest area in Phu Trung and Phu Hai villages (Ky Anh commune) was on fire, so they reported it to the local authorities.
After receiving the news, Ky Anh Commune People's Committee mobilized hundreds of people including police, soldiers, forest rangers, militia and local people to quickly come to the scene to put out the fire.
Thanks to mobilizing a large number of local forces to participate in extinguishing the fire, about 40 minutes later, the forest fire was controlled. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
