On May 9, according to Hung Yen Provincial Police, on December 24, 2025, Trinh Quang Minh (born 2009, residing in Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province) saw a "motorbike exchange" post on Doan Van Duong's Facebook (born 2010, residing in Phu Lien ward, Hai Phong city) so he contacted and arranged to meet and invited friends to go along.
On the way, Minh had the intention to appropriate property and discussed it with the group. When meeting Duong and Tran Vinh Thai (born 2010, residing in Phu Lien ward, Hai Phong city) near the Ngau Nghin bridge area (National Highway 10), Minh and Doan Quoc Anh (born 2008), Bui Tien Dat (born 2010) and Nguyen Viet Cuong (born 2010) blocked the car, used force to threaten, control the two victims and forced them to move to another place.
Here, the group embezzled a GOGO electric car and checked the phone to try to get more property but failed. After that, the subjects released the victim, provided a fake phone number and took the car home. Minh was the person who kept the car, removed the license plate and used it, although advised to return it, he did not do so and even lied that he had returned it.
On January 5, 2026, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police initiated a criminal case and prosecuted the above 4 subjects for the crime of "Robbery" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 168 of the Penal Code.
