According to the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) of An Giang, the organization of "Digital Literacy Classrooms" along with infrastructure and digital platform investment has brought clear efficiency, contributing to innovating command and operation methods and improving the overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces.
Identifying people as the center of digital transformation, the An Giang Provincial Military Command pays special attention to developing digital human resources, considering this a key factor, determining success.
The "Digital Literacy" movement is deployed synchronously and methodically with 2,567 learning accounts, organizing direct training and arranging 1 learning machine room with 10 computers, while ensuring that agencies and units have conditions to study regularly. Through learning machine rooms, officers and soldiers are equipped with basic and advanced digital knowledge and skills; directly practicing the use of military document management software, email, online television conferences, gradually forming working habits in the digital environment.
Regarding technical infrastructure, the Provincial Military Command has built 6 specialized server systems, completing the connection network from the province to the Regional Defense Command Boards, affiliated units and 102 communes, wards, and towns. At the same time, the online television bridge system connecting the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 9 and units is effectively exploited, ensuring rapid, secret, safe, and economical command and operation, especially in unexpected and urgent situations.
The results achieved in the period 2021 - 2025 have affirmed that the An Giang Provincial Military Command is the leading unit in the entire Military Region in digital transformation, issuance of electronic documents and application of digital signatures. The effectiveness is not only reflected in shortening work processing time, sharply reducing military mail and express mail, and streamlining intermediaries, but more importantly, creating fundamental changes in thinking, methods, and working style of officers and soldiers in the digital environment. Thereby contributing to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces.
