Da Nang - Da Nang students together contributed each book and pen to share difficulties and support the learning of students in flooded areas.

In the last days of October 2025, floods caused heavy damage in many Central provinces, including flooded areas and mountainous areas in Da Nang City. Many schools were deeply flooded, some places were landslides, students' books and school supplies were swept away or damaged.

Responding to the spirit of "mutual love", Tran Thi Ly Primary School (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City) has launched a program to donate textbooks and learning tools to support students in flooded areas.

As soon as she saw many schools in flooded and mountainous areas being severely affected, teacher Tran Thi Ly quickly informed all teachers and parents through a class group to mobilize donations.

The school's appeal was widely spread, many students, parents, former students as well as Da Nang residents brought books, notebooks, pens, and learning tools to the school's reception point.

After four days of implementation, the program has collected more than 1,200 textbooks (Knowledge with Life section) and more than 2,000 learning materials of all kinds, suitable for the needs of students in flooded areas of Da Nang.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hanh - Vice Principal of Tran Thi Ly Primary School, the school considers this not only a simple donation but also an opportunity to educate students about the spirit of humanity and mutual love - a precious tradition of the Vietnamese people, especially the people of the Central region.

"In the past, the flood rose very quickly, many students almost lost all their books. We only had time to text in a group, but after only two days, the school received a lot of affection and sharing from parents and students in the school.

In a place that is often affected by natural disasters, it is the humanity and sharing that have helped students as well as people overcome difficulties and spread the warmth of love to each other," Ms. Hanh shared.
