On the morning of May 20, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with Phuong Sai Primary School, Tay Nha Trang ward to organize propaganda on drowning prevention and control and guide first aid skills for students and school teachers.
At the propaganda session, officers of the Fire and Rescue Police Department disseminated to students and teachers basic knowledge about the causes and risks leading to drowning accidents.
At the same time, guide them on prevention skills and escape skills when incidents occur.
Students are also instructed on how to use support equipment such as life jackets, rescue ropes and first aid methods in emergency situations.
Notably, students were directly trained in life-saving and first aid operations such as artificial respiration, asphyxia; using available items such as ropes and buoys to assist in rescue in case there is no specialized equipment.
