In the context that the whole country is simultaneously implementing the people's comments on the draft amendment and supplementation of the 2013 Constitution, Hai Duong province has highlighted as one of the leading localities in the country in terms of the number of participants through VNEID electronic application.
Right from the first day of launching (May 9), Hai Duong Provincial Police have identified this as a key political task, mobilizing all forces to deploy drastically and closely to each village and residential area. With the motto "go to every alley, knock on every door, check every person", police officers and soldiers at all levels have actively gone to each household to propagate, instruct on installing applications, activating level 2 identification accounts and giving comments on digital platforms.
Not only operating in residential areas, the police force also coordinates with agencies, businesses, schools, hospitals, and industrial parks to support civil servants, workers, students, and laborers to easily access and exercise civil rights. Community digital technology teams and mobile groups also clearly promoted their effectiveness in helping the elderly and people with limited access to technology to participate in giving favorable comments.
As of 24:00 on May 29, Hai Duong recorded 1,119,720 citizens with level 2 identification accounts who have participated in contributing opinions - in the group of 3 localities with the largest number of participants in the country ( along with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City). The province is also among the groups with the highest participation rate (86.79%), along with Ha Nam.
Notably, among the participants, 90.5% completely approved with the draft amendment of the Constitution. This result confirms the sense of responsibility, the strong participation of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of Hai Duong Provincial Police and the entire police force from the province to grassroots level, contributing to affirming the role and effectiveness of digital transformation in the implementation of the people's ownership.
