On the afternoon of November 13, in Hoi An, Da Nang, the Central Dermatology Hospital in collaboration with the Vietnam Dermatology Association and the Khmer-Xo Viet Friendship Hospital and the Cambodian Dermatology Association held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of dermatology.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Le Huu Doanh - Director of the Central Dermatology Hospital, over the years, the Central Dermatology Hospital and the Khmer-Xo Viet Friendship Hospital, together with the Dermatology Associations of the two countries, have built and maintained a sustainable, effective and meaningful cooperative relationship.
The two sides regularly coordinate to organize scientific conferences, exchanges, training and fostering young doctors, as well as share clinical treatment experiences in the fields of skin diseases, phong trao, sexually transmitted diseases, and specialized dermatological surgery.
The cooperative relationship between the two hospitals has developed into a comprehensive cooperation program, making an important contribution to improving professional capacity, research and medical training for medical staff of both countries.
Associate Professor, Dr. Le Huu Doanh said that this signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marks a new step in development, focusing on 4 main contents: Cooperating in basic scientific research, implementing joint research topics, aiming to propose practical applications in the treatment of complex dermatological diseases; postgraduate training and continuous medical training, coordinating the organization of courses, seminars, and exchange programs for young doctors; exchanging information and scientific documents, increasing data sharing, research results and specialized publications; organizing working groups, teaching, consulting and surgical activities between the two hospitals.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed is a testament to the common commitment to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, training human resources and promoting international cooperation in the field of dermatology - towards the goal of better public health care and protection.
