Works associated with the pride of the Fatherland
Since the beginning of August, the Youth Union in Hai Phong City such as Tan Hung Ward, An Thanh Commune... has simultaneously implemented a program to present national flags to policy families and fishermen's households, and built "Fatherland Flag Road" routes in many residential areas.
At the same time, volunteer youth teams are present at ward and commune headquarters to support people in carrying out administrative procedures, especially popular procedures such as temporary residence registration and document authentication, helping to reduce waiting time for people.
Notable in the series of activities are the practical actions of the Tan Hung Ward Youth Union. Ms. Pham Thi Minh Nguyet - Secretary of the Ward Youth Union - shared that a typical project is the "Fatherland Flag Road" in residential group No. 8. The ward delegation not only presented flags but also directly instructed people to hang them properly, creating a solemn and brilliant appearance with flags on the streets.
At the same time, the ward deployed the model of "Youth Union supporting people in completing administrative procedures" right at the headquarters. The union members volunteered to be on duty, wholeheartedly supporting people in procedures such as temporary residence registration, document certification... contributing to reducing the burden and saving time for people.
Youth Union members also coordinated with the Party Committee and the Ward Police to complete the exchange of party membership cards on the National Population Database platform, ensuring progress and quality.
Along with Tan Hung, the youth of An Thanh commune (Hai Phong city) also left their mark by donating the "Fatherland Flag Road" youth project to the three villages of Duong Mong, Phu Tai 2 and Hai Ninh.
The commune delegation presented 200 national flags to the people on the main roads, with a total value of about 6 million VND, mobilized from socialized sources. This activity not only beautifies the appearance of the countryside but also arouses national pride among the people.
This is a project to celebrate the first Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, and at the same time towards the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution. It is expected that in the coming time, this model will continue to be replicated in the remaining villages in the commune.

Responsibilities of today's young generation
According to the Secretary of the Tan Hung Ward Youth Union, the spirit of the August Revolution left for today's young generation is the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant and the desire for independence and freedom. To be worthy of that tradition, young people need to concretize it through actions: studying, practicing to master science and technology; actively participating in volunteer movements; preserving national cultural identity; and especially building a strong political stance in the face of integration's challenges.
Through activities such as giving the national flag or supporting people in administrative procedures, we hope to create a strong spillover effect, arousing love for the homeland and community awareness.
Each union member is not only good at their profession but also needs to have a heart that knows how to share and care for those around them" - Ms. Nguyet shared.
Those practical actions, although small, are nurturing revolutionary ideals, fueling the fire of choc and volunteering in Hai Phong youth, so that today's generation can continue to contribute their youth and intelligence to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
