On April 20, according to information from Vinh Long Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant and temporarily detain Truong Van Tai (born in 1981, residing in Tan Xuan commune) to investigate the act of "Murder".
Previously, on the morning of April 1, 2026, due to personal conflicts, Tai and Mr. D. H. A (born in 1979, residing in Ba Tri commune) had an argument, in which Tai was threatened with being beaten. At about 12 pm on the same day, the two sides continued to scuffle.
In anger, Tai used a knife he had on him to stab Mr. A. After committing the crime, the subject threw away the weapon and left the scene. The victim was taken to the emergency room but died on April 7.
After learning that the victim had not survived, Tai went to Tan Xuan Commune Police to surrender and confessed all his criminal acts. Currently, the case is being further investigated and handled according to legal regulations.
