On August 10, according to information from Vinh Long Provincial Police, Tan Xuan Commune Police coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Long Provincial Police to issue a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and prohibit leaving the place of residence for L.T.D (born in 2009, residing in Tan An hamlet, Tan Xuan commune).
According to the investigation results, at about 5 pm on June 30, at a water stall in Tan Thanh 2 hamlet, Tan Xuan commune, the police force discovered L.T.D, along with T.N. T.V (born in 2009) and N.A.K (born in 2008) showing signs of suspected organization of illegal drug use, so they proceeded to inspect.
At the scene, the police force temporarily seized a plastic bottle with a plastic straw attached to the lid and a glass tube containing gray-white crystals, along with many objects and documents suspected of being used to organize the illegal use of drugs.
Through inspection, the subjects and related exhibits all tested positive for drugs. Initially, all 3 confessed that the above exhibits were used to serve the illegal use of drugs.
At the police station, L.T.D admitted to the act of organizing the illegal use of drugs. Functional agencies then consolidated the file and handled the case according to legal regulations.
Regarding T.N. T.V, the police agency determined that this is a drug addict, and Tan Xuan Commune Police are preparing a dossier requesting him to be sent to a compulsory detoxification facility.
Dossiers related to T.N. T.V are being further consolidated to be transferred to the People's Court of Region 8, Vinh Long province for consideration and handling according to its authority.
