Can Tho - Lai Hoa Border Guard Station inspected a grocery store in Vinh Phuoc Ward and discovered 197 packs of smuggled cigarettes being sold.

On August 31, Captain Vo Minh Luan - Head of Lai Hoa Border Guard Station, Can Tho City Border Guard - said that the unit had just arrested a subject for trading in smuggled foreign cigarettes.

At 2:10 p.m. on August 30, the working group of Lai Hoa Border Guard Station, while performing their duties at No Puol hamlet, Vinh Phuoc ward, discovered at the Co Xuan grocery store owned by Ms. Huynh Thi Qui La (born in 1975), trading 197 packs of smuggled cigarettes. Of which, 50 packs of Scott brand cigarettes, 42 packs of Jet brand cigarettes, 105 packs of Hero brand cigarettes.

The working group has drawn up a record of the case of seizing the exhibits and invited the subject to the Border Guard Station to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law. According to the subject's initial statement, the above smuggled cigarettes were purchased by the subject from Ca Mau province to sell for profit.
