On April 30, beach rescue forces in Bai Sau area (Tam Thang ward, Ho Chi Minh City) promptly discovered and rescued an elderly female tourist suspected of attempting suicide.
According to initial information, during duty, patrolling and controlling along Bai Sau beach to protect the safety of tourists, the rescue team of Tam Hoang Thien Co., Ltd. discovered a female tourist with unusual signs, moving away from the shore in an unstable mental state.
Realizing that this person was at high risk of drowning, rescue forces quickly approached to support and bring the female tourist ashore safely.
Through exchange, the female tourist said her name was N.T. H (68 years old, residing in Dong Nai City), because she was sad about family matters, she went alone to Vung Tau, with the intention of committing suicide. Therefore, the rescue force gave initial first aid, calmed down her spirit and took the female tourist to Vung Tau General Hospital for monitoring and treatment. Currently, the victim's health has stabilized.
According to the rescue force, during holidays, the number of tourists flocking to the beaches increases, leading to many unsafe risks, so the rescue team is always on duty with 100% of their personnel. In addition to continuous patrols and controls to quickly detect and handle dangerous situations, the force also observes and coordinates to provide timely support to tourists, including cases related to psychology and health.
Through this, functional agencies also recommend that people and tourists pay attention to ensuring safety when playing and swimming in the sea. Do not go down to the water when your health is not guaranteed or your spirit is unstable.
