Phu Quoc has many very beautiful destinations, so the group will try to take advantage of the time to go to many places, take photos, and record videos to save.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, a tourist from Dong Thap, shared, "My group came to Rach Gia early in the morning to wait for the train for peace of mind, fearing being late for departure, so the whole group took the opportunity to be present early. This time our group went to Nam Du island for 3 days, everyone was excited for the trip because they had seen the island's scenery online and many friends shared it as very beautiful. The group also brought a lot of luggage and a lot of clothes to be able to take photos to our heart's content.
According to the An Giang Provincial Department of Tourism, the Department has directed tourism business establishments in the province to well implement tourism activities according to regulations, ensure services, quality of tourism products, and conditions to serve tourists on the occasion of April 30 and May 1.
Localities also strengthen the management of tourism activities in the area, requiring business organizations and individuals to strictly comply with legal regulations; ensure conditions on security, safety, environmental sanitation and food safety; publicly list prices, strictly implement price regulations, not raise prices or solicit customers; and at the same time improve service quality. In addition, promote inspection and supervision, especially on the online environment, to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations related to business conditions, service quality and security and order.
Proactively implement measures to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and food safety; control the safety conditions of tourist transport vehicles; organize traffic diversion, passenger regulation, accident prevention, rescue and protection of a green, clean, and beautiful environment.
At the same time, strengthen propaganda and promotion of the image of safe and friendly destinations; raise awareness of civilized behavior, warn of fraudulent acts (especially in the online environment), and establish a mechanism to receive and handle feedback from tourists.
Previously, An Giang province had implemented a series of solutions to restore order and avoid "ticket scalpers" at the pier to Phu Quoc and islands. Strengthen control to build a transparent and fair transport environment.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Khac Huy - Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association said that the long holiday is a favorable condition for people to visit, travel, and relax. The number of domestic tourists unexpectedly increased with Phu Quoc as a destination. This is a very positive sign compared to 2025, not to mention the number of international tourists still choosing Phu Quoc as an ideal destination.
