On February 1, Kon Tum provincial authorities are investigating and clarifying the causes of a number of serious traffic accidents that occurred in the area, causing many casualties.
On the evening of January 30, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 24 (through village 12, Dak Ruong commune, Kon Ray district).
In which, motorbike 77K1-301.49 driven by A Quyt (26 years old) carrying A Ty (22 years old, both residing in Dak To Re commune) collided with motorbike 82B1-814.10 driven by Phan Huynh Tan Phat (25 years old, residing in Tan Lap commune, Kon Ray district).
As a result, Phan Huynh Tan Phat died on the spot; A Quyt and A Ty were seriously injured.
On the same day, on DH53 road (through Dak Cho village, Ngoc Tu commune, Dak To district), a traffic accident occurred.
Motorcycle 82U1-012.21 was driven by A Long (27 years old), carrying Y To Chach (22 years old) and Y Thuy Van (2 years old).
This car collided with motorbike 82G1-046.60 driven by A Bat (23 years old, residing in Ngoc Leang village, Dak Ha commune, Tu Mo Rong district) in the opposite direction.
As a result, Y Thuy Van died; Y To Chach, A Long, and A Bat suffered minor injuries.
The causes of traffic accidents during the Lunar New Year holiday are currently being investigated and clarified by authorities.
