On the evening of November 19, a series of accidents occurred between 5 cars on National Highway 5 through Hai Duong province.
At around 6:00 p.m.on November 19, at km 41+100m of National Highway 5, on the road from Hanoi to Hai Phong (in Tan Truong commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province), a passenger car with license plate 34B-031.33 driven by Mr. V.VT.
(born in 1974, residing in Nguyen Giap commune, Tu Ky district, Hai Duong) crashed into the back of a truck with license plate 29H-007.61 driven by Mr. P.V.H.(born in 1972, residing in Thanh Binh ward, Hai Duong city).
In Mr. H.'s car were Mr. LX.L.(born in 1942, residing in Thuong Tin district, Hanoi) and Ms. L.T.T.H.(born in 1977, residing in Thanh Binh ward, Hai Duong city).The collision caused Mr. H's car to be pushed forward, crashing into the back of a car with license plate 15C-235.77 driven by Mr. T.V.T (born in 1994, residing in Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city).
Due to a strong collision from behind, Mr. T's car also crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer with license plate 98H-001.65 pulling a trailer with license plate 29R-080.29 driven by Mr. D.V.D (born in 1987, residing in Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province).
After that, the tractor-trailer continued to collide with a car with license plate 34A-292.89 driven by Mr. B.V.T (born in 1976, in Kinh Mon town, Hai Duong province) traveling in the same direction.
The series of accidents caused Mr. L.and Ms. H.in the truck with license plate 29H-007.61 to be seriously injured.All 5 cars were damaged, and National Highway 5 was congested for many hours.
