Lam Dong is developing a provincial land price list to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026.

On September 18, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province said that it is organizing the development of a land price list of the province to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026. Previously, from the beginning of August 2025 to present, the Center for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering has conducted investigations, surveys and collected input information to serve as a basis for price building for land types.

Routes, residential areas, and newly arising sections compared to the 2020 - 2024 period are also being updated to serve as a basis for adding to the new land price list.

Specific land types must be determined in the land price list according to Decree 71/2024. Other types of land classified according to Article 9 of the Land Law will be determined according to local management needs.

The consulting unit has coordinated with the Appraisal Council and relevant departments and branches to develop a land price list for agricultural and non-agricultural land types to unify the content and criteria for application.

Some of the difficulties arising are that agricultural land prices are higher than residential land, in some areas due to the merger of administrative units. After the survey, the consulting unit adjusted, ensuring that the price of residential land and non-agricultural land is always equal to or higher than the price of agricultural land, suitable for reality.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - Le Trong Yen requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct flexibly and closely to ensure progress and criteria related to the land price list. It is necessary to unify methods, methods of determining criteria and methods of calculating land prices after merging 3 provinces

Mr. Yen emphasized the need to closely review, not to miss actual land area, ensuring progress and accuracy. Communes, wards and special zones must be proactive, closely coordinate with departments and branches, focus on completing documents, and submit to the Provincial People's Council by the end of 2025 to issue a new land price list on schedule.
