A series of new data management solutions have been introduced by units at the Computex Technology Exhibition taking place in Taiwan (China).

Today, data is not only limited to storage but has become a core resource for businesses to train AI (artificial intelligence) models, automate processes and make decisions in real time. This poses a difficult problem for the information technology department, which is to exploit data faster but still ensure safety, recovery capacity and legal compliance.

Sharing with international media, Mr. Philip Wong, Chairman and CEO of Synology affirmed: "Data is the center in every product we build, and trust is the foundation. From business infrastructure to personal cloud solutions, we develop products so that users have full control over data, taking security, reliability and privacy as core elements.

The explosion of AI technology is causing cybersecurity threats to increase rapidly in both frequency and sophistication. To help businesses shift their focus from passive recovery to proactive defense, data storage and management company Synology has upgraded the ActiveProtect Manager 2.0 operating system by expanding the scope of support, adding popular infrastructure environments today such as Azure Virtual Machines, Amazon EC2, Nutanix AHV, Proxmox VE and Google Workspace.

This helps improve system compatibility, allowing businesses to centrally manage and comprehensively protect multiple data sources on the same management platform.

Along with ActiveProtect Manager 2.0, Synology also announced the roadmap for the new generation DiskStation Manager (DSM). DSM is no longer just a simple operating system, but has been repositioned by Synology into an intelligent data platform, serving tightly controlled internal AI processes...

In addition to Synology, other units also launched new data storage solutions. WD brings new generation super large capacity HDD hard drive technologies. Toshiba introduces a line of enterprise hard drives and dedicated AI-integrated monitoring hard drives. Or TWSC introduces comprehensive AI storage solutions, demonstrating systematic storage capacity, covering from data centers to terminals... Meanwhile, QNAP shifts its focus from simple backup to authenticated recovery with the HDP for Business platform.

According to data from market research company Fortune Business, the scale of the global enterprise data management market is valued at 111.28 billion USD in 2025. The market is expected to increase from 123.04 billion USD in 2026 to 294.99 billion USD in 2034, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.50% in the forecast period. North America dominates the global market with a market share of 29.90% in 2025.
