On December 19, information from Son La Provincial Police said that the forces had just discovered and arrested a subject for illegally storing and using firecrackers.
Accordingly, on December 18, in Ban Ban village, Phu Yen commune, Son La province, the working group of the Economic Police Department of Son La Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with Phu Yen Commune Police to discover and catch red-handed Dinh Van Khanh (born in 1994), residing in Muong Co commune, Son La province for illegally storing and using prohibited goods.
The seized exhibits included 6 boxes of firecrackers with a total weight of 8.5 kg, 1 motorbike and some related evidence.
At the police station, Khanh confessed that he had bought the above fireworks for use, and was on his way to hide them when he was discovered and arrested by the authorities.
The case is currently being further investigated and handled according to the provisions of law.
