On September 1, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued a Short-term Hydrographic Forecast and Warning Bulletin.
According to the bulletin, with the Thao River, the water level at Yen Bai station (Lao Cai province) is and will continue to change slowly.
Monitoring data at Yen Bai station at 7:00 am on September 1st was at 26.42m, at the same time at Phu Tho station at 13.17m.
With the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station (Phu Tho province) is and is forecast to continue to change slowly and be affected by the upstream hydropower regulation.
Monitoring data at Tuyen Quang station at 7:00 a.m. on September 1 was at 13.63m, at the same time at Vu Quang station at 5.20m.
With the Da River, the flow to Hoa Binh reservoir is and will continue to fluctuate due to the regulation of the above-line hydropower plant.
Monitoring data shows that at 7:00 AM on September 1st, the water level of the Da River at Hoa Binh reservoir station was 7.71m.
With the Red River, the water level downstream of the Red River at the Hanoi Hydrological Station is changing slowly and at a low level, and is forecast to continue to change slowly.
According to monitoring data, the water level downstream of the Red River at Hanoi station at 7:00 AM on September 1st was 1.45m.
