On June 15, Dong Tra Bong Commune Police informed that the unit had received a pangolin discovered and handed over by Nguyen Thanh Hien (16 years old), in Binh Thanh village, Dong Tra Bong commune.
Accordingly, on the morning of June 14, while cleaning the garden area, Hien discovered a pangolin individual. Recognizing that this is a rare wild animal, she arrested it and took it to Dong Tra Bong Commune Police to hand over.
The pangolin weighs about 800g. After receiving it, Dong Tra Bong Commune Police coordinated with the Forest Protection Department of Region II to inspect, care for and complete the necessary procedures to bring this individual back to the natural environment.
Nguyen Thanh Hien's actions demonstrate a sense of responsibility in protecting wildlife, contributing to spreading the spirit of joining hands to conserve biodiversity and preserve ecosystems.
