On the afternoon of June 22, at Can Tho University of Technology and Engineering, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Can Tho City, Can Tho University of Technology and Engineering and Can Tho City Police organized propaganda on Vietnam's sea and islands and the work of preventing drugs from entering young people for more than 350 Youth Union officials, Youth Union members, and students in the area.
Through activities aimed at raising knowledge for young people about sea and island sovereignty; drug prevention laws, and also aiming for a deeper goal, which is to build political bravery, civic awareness with sea and island sovereignty and the ability of youth to protect themselves from the issues being raised in modern society.

Contents about the position and importance of Vietnam's sea and islands; the Party's views on protecting national sovereignty and the role of the Vietnam Coast Guard force, union members and youth are not only equipped with knowledge but also awakened to the sense of responsibility for a sacred part of the Fatherland's territory. Protecting sovereignty today is not only a task at the forefront of waves and winds but also starts from the right awareness, right belief and the right voice of each citizen.
Along with knowledge about the sea and islands, young people also access important information about the current situation of drugs. New types of drugs with increasingly sophisticated disguised forms are creeping into the school environment, threatening the future of many young people. Reality shows that many cases of law violations or loss of opportunities for personal development do not stem from lack of capacity but from lack of understanding, lack of skills to identify and respond to surrounding risks.
Through the program, the organizers expect each union member and youth not only to be the recipient of information but also to become active propagandists, contributing to spreading a correct awareness of sea and island sovereignty, and at the same time proactively saying no to drugs and social evils.
