On December 13, FPT Long Chau and the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center) under Department C06 - Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the deployment of electronic authentication service of FPT Long Chau pharmacy via VNeID.
This cooperation helps people to easily buy medicine online safely and conveniently through an app-to-app connection solution between the pharmacy application and VNeID.
Over the past half month, the parties have made careful and rigorous assessments, fully considering aspects of security, information security, data, etc. before officially launching on the first day of 2025.
According to Lao Dong's research, the drug ordering feature is available on both Android and iOS operating systems. To use this feature, people access the "Health Record" service, then go to the "Pharmacy" section. Here, users can use the "Buy medicine" feature from FPT Long Chau.
In this step, the electronic identification and authentication system will share and process some important personal data with the pharmacy, including: Personal identification number, full name, date of birth, and electronic identification account level.
Only when clicking to agree to share data, going through additional authentication steps via OTP code, will the user be directly linked to the pharmacy.
Here, people can choose to use the necessary services from what medicine to buy, consulting with a pharmacist, finding a pharmacy, making a prescription, contacting for vaccinations to health check-ups.
With the drug purchase feature, users need to provide their own notes about the type of medicine needed for each disease, upload a prescription image (if any) or the medicine that needs further consultation... After successfully sending the request, the pharmacist will contact the person within 5-10 minutes before making the prescription.
The pharmacy utility is a component of the Electronic Health Book. This is an essential utility for people to proactively track their medical history, prescriptions and purchase medicine centrally on VNeID.
By purchasing medicine through VNeID, people can also easily track and retrieve information throughout the purchase process, from product details, price, pharmacist consultation, delivery person... ensuring the quality of medicine at every stage when it reaches the customer.
In addition, when purchasing drugs online from VNeID, management agencies can identify buyers and sellers by identification codes and authentication features; detailed order information for each type of drug, ingredients, price, quantity; record transaction history between buyers and sellers; in case of unexpected incidents, they can accurately trace the route of the goods.
