In response to the forecast of the impact of storm Bualoi, on September 28, people proactively and urgently deployed response plans to limit possible damage.
Some popular and traditional methods applied by the people include: Pumping water into plastic bags, sandbags to reinforce corrugated iron roofs, bracing houses... Along with the authorities, youth volunteer teams at the units launched a campaign to trim tree branches and support bracing schools.


Mr. Duong Ba Son - a resident of Ky Anh commune said: "Before the information that storm No. 10 is at risk of making landfall directly in Ha Tinh, we, the people, although having certain concerns, have also proactively taken measures to cope with the storm such as preparing food, drinking water, building our houses... and regularly monitoring the news of the storm on mass media and local government announcements".
The Ky Anh commune government recommends that after 5:00 p.m. on September 28, all people in the commune are strictly prohibited from going out until the storm subsides. The authorities coordinate to strictly implement the instructions of superiors to help people cope with storm No. 10. People need to prepare adequate drinking water and food reserves, regularly follow the news to update information, announcements about the storm, as well as recommendations from the government.
The proactive response to storm Bualoi of Ha Tinh people not only demonstrates their experience in dealing with natural disasters but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and high community awareness. This is a valuable lesson, contributing to improving the resilience of the community to the challenges of climate change in the future.
