According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 10:00 a.m. on September 27, the center of the storm was at about 14.5 degrees north latitude; 114.9 degrees east longitude, about 370 km east-southeast of Hoang Sa Special Zone. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 11 - 12 (103 - 133 km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm is moving west-northwest at a speed of about 35 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move west-northwest, at a speed of about 30 km/h and is likely to strengthen. At 10:00 on September 28, the center of the storm was at about 16.9 degrees north latitude; 108.8 degrees east longitude, in the southern sea of Quang Tri - Quang Ngai, about 120 km east-northeast of Hue city. Strong winds of level 12 - 13, gusting to level 16.

Tomorrow, September 28, the new Phong Chau bridge will be inaugurated
The project to build the new Phong Chau bridge - National Highway 32C, Phu Tho province is implemented according to the Order for emergency construction from the end of 2024. The total investment of the project is more than 635 billion VND, invested by the Thang Long Project Management Board (under the Ministry of Construction), and constructed by Army Corps 12 - Truong Son Construction Corporation.
After 10 months of rapid construction, this key project is now ready to be put into use, meeting the expectations of millions of people in Phu Tho province. According to the plan, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Construction and the People's Committee of Phu Tho province will hold the inauguration ceremony of the new Phong Chau bridge on the morning of September 28. This is an important milestone in the process of overcoming the bridge collapse incident more than a year ago, as well as ensuring smooth traffic on National Highway 32C.
