Lao Cai - Authorities are searching for a man missing on the Red River while fishing.

Initial information, at around 7:00 a.m. this morning (September 5), in the Red River area flowing through Mai Hong 1 village, Bao Ha commune, a person fell into the river and went missing. The victim was identified as Mr. Hoang Van Don (born in 1981, residing in Mai Hong 1 village, Bao Ha commune).

At that time, while fishing on the Red River (in Mai Hong 1 village, Bao Ha commune - the area of the old Tan An commune), Mr. Don unfortunately fell into the river and went missing.

Immediately after receiving the information, leaders of the Party Committee and government of Bao Ha commune were present at the scene, directly directing the functional forces and local people to urgently deploy the search for the victims.

It is known that when he fell, Mr. Don wore shorts and a blue army jacket.

Identification characteristics: About 1m70 tall, about 65kg heavy, dark skin.

Bao Ha commune has sent documents and information to communes in the downstream area to coordinate in searching for the victims. Currently, the search and rescue work is still continuing.
