Woman stealing money in a market in Gia Lai discovered and arrested

    Gia Lai - Taking advantage of the crowded market, Pham Thi Tuyet Hanh pickpocketed people going to the market to steal money but was discovered, controlled, and handed over to the police by people.

    On June 28, Gia Lai Provincial Police said they are consolidating the file to handle Pham Thi Tuyet Hanh (born 1962, residing in Quy Nhon Nam ward) for pickpocketing and property theft in the Nhon Ly market area (Quy Nhon Dong ward).

    Previously, at about 7:55 am on April 25, while Nhon Ly market was crowded with people buying and selling, people discovered a woman with the act of picking pockets and stealing property, so they promptly controlled, arrested and handed her over to the police force.

    Upon receiving the report, Quy Nhon Dong Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene, taking the subject and the victim to the headquarters to work and verify the incident.

    Through struggle, the subject was identified as Pham Thi Tuyet Hanh. At the police station, Hanh confessed to taking advantage of loopholes to pickpocket and steal 550,000 VND from Ms. Le Thi Bon (born 1950, residing in Quy Nhon Nam ward).
