Dong Nai Police prevent kidnapping and blackmail in cyberspace
On June 9, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police Department prevented a kidnapping and blackmail case committed by scammers in cyberspace.
According to the police records, on June 2, Ms. Ng.A.M. (22 years old, living in Bien Hoa City) received a phone call from an unknown number asking to be friends via the social network Zalo.
After becoming friends, Ms. M. received a video call recording a man (unknown background) being handcuffed, working with people wearing police uniforms next to a box containing money and some small plastic bags (the subject said was drugs) being transported to give to M; at the same time, asked Ms. M to transfer 725 million VND to be ignored, otherwise he would be arrested by the police, if not related to the above case, the above amount would be returned.
Out of panic, Ms. M. transferred 725 million VND to the subjects to the account number they provided.

700 kg of dried squid with signs of mold and odor left on the sidewalk in Da Nang
On June 9, the Da Nang Market Management Department said that Market Management Team No. 4 had just discovered and temporarily detained dry squid foods with signs of mold and odor on the sidewalk of Chu Huy Man Street (Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City).
This batch of goods had no owner or caretaker when the authorities conducted the inspection.

Tons of candy and food packaged with Chinese characters were dumped directly at the landfill in La Phu commune, Hoai Duc district.
Regarding the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper on the "candy mountain" in La Phu commune (Hoai Duc district, Hanoi), according to actual records, most of the products that were dumped had foreign labels, without Vietnamese sub-labels as prescribed.
Notably, many items clearly state the expiration date until the end of 2024, the packaging is colorful, attracting children but piled up right next to the residential road.
