Arrest of a subject circulating counterfeit foreign currency at Lao Cai International Border Gate
On June 4, Lao Cai International Border Guard Station informed that the unit had arrested a Chinese national for storing, transporting, and circulating counterfeit money in the border gate area.
Previously, at around 2:20 p.m. on May 29, while on duty, the working group of the Lao Cai International Border Guard Station discovered that Bach Dung, a male, Han ethnic group, born in 1990, residing in Dien An city, Xi'an province, China, was completing procedures to enter Vietnam with many suspicious signs.
After entering Vietnam, Bach Dung went to the area in front of Sapaly Hotel (Group 26, Lao Cai Ward, Lao Cai City) to exchange 2,000 fake yuan for 7 million VND, then continued to the counter next to exchange 3,000 fake yuan for 10 million 890 thousand VND.

On the evening of June 4, the leader of the Phu Yen Provincial Department of Health said that he had directed the relevant agencies to inspect and verify the case of many diners suspected of being poisoned after eating snail buffet at P.D.V restaurant, branch 3 on Hung Vuong Street (Ward 7, Tuy Hoa City).
"Currently, the patients are stable. The authorities have inspected, taken samples and temporarily closed this restaurant," said the leader of the Department of Health.
