Stop searching for missing victims of landslide in Lang Nu
On October 10, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Khanh Commune Nong The Manh said that by the end of today, all rescue forces and machinery will withdraw from the landslide scene in Lang Nu.
The decision to stop the search was agreed upon with local residents at a meeting in late September. According to Mr. Nong The Manh, over the past 10 days, forces have continued to search in areas where excavators have dug nearly ten meters deep, but no more victims have been found.

Verifying the case of a father beating his 3-month-old child to the point of hospitalization in Binh Dinh
On October 10, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Nhon Binh Ward (Quy Nhon City) said that the ward police had investigated the case of a father abusing and beating his 3-month-old child, causing the child to be hospitalized with many bruises on his body. "Currently, the police force has gone to the hospital where the 3-month-old child is being treated to verify the information, then will summon the relevant individuals for handling," he said.
Earlier that morning, social media circulated content and images of a 3-month-old baby with many bruises on his body due to being beaten by his biological father, causing outrage in the online community. The baby was taken to Binh Dinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.
