Nearly 100 kg of drugs were disguised and shipped from Europe to Vietnam.
On October 9, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Hanoi City Police prosecuted and detained Truong Huu Tuan (29 years old, Dau Giay town, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province); Tran Ngoc Anh (29 years old, in Di An ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province) and Nguyen Van Tuan (26 years old, in Thang Long commune, Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province) for the act of "illegally transporting drugs".
Around mid-July 2024, through intelligence work, the authorities discovered a shipment from a European country to Vietnam, suspected of containing drugs. The detectives identified the recipient of the 9 packages as a man in Hai Phong City.
Many working groups were mobilized to destroy a criminal group that disguised nearly 100 kg of drugs in wine bags, packed in crates and shipped from Europe to Vietnam.
