Gasoline prices decreased simultaneously, RON 95-III gasoline approached the 19,700 VND/liter mark
In today's adjustment session (October 9), gasoline prices decreased simultaneously compared to the previous price management period. Of which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND 19,138/liter (down VND 486/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND19,729/liter (down VND480/liter).
Prices of oil products have decreased simultaneously. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND 18,604/liter (down VND 434/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND 18,434/liter (down VND 571/liter); mazut is priced at VND 14,808/kg (down VND 562/kg).

Thai Nguyen mountain town devastated after historic floods
In recent days, the circulation of storm No. 11 has caused heavy rain, causing many areas in the center of Thai Nguyen to be deeply flooded, causing serious damage. Hundreds of households had to be urgently evacuated, and the water has now gradually receded, leaving behind a scene of devastation on many streets.
On October 9, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that on Minh Cau, Luong Ngoc Quyen, Hoang Van Thu, Thong Nhat underpass and Bac Nam intersection (Phan Dinh Phung ward), many sections were still partially flooded. Some sections of the water have receded, the road surface is muddy, traffic is difficult, many households have not been able to return home because the water has not receded. Organize more fun activities when limiting students' use of phones at school
On October 9, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting to deploy a pilot plan to strengthen the building of a healthy school environment to limit the use of mobile phones and electronic devices during recess at educational institutions in Ho Chi Minh City.
The pilot will take place at 16 schools in October 2025 until the end of the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year, after which the city will simultaneously deploy it at all general education institutions in the area from January 2026.
When implementing, each school will have at least 3 diverse replacement activities during recess (sports, arts, folk games, reading, life skills club...). Students participate in at least one collective activity, no longer have the opportunity to use phones for personal entertainment purposes during recess.
