On the afternoon of October 8, many workers inside an 11-storey building on Dien Bien Phu Street, Xuan Hoa Ward (HCMC) were shocked to discover black smoke and fire rising from the parking area.
Right at the scene, the building's security guards and local people quickly tried to put out the fire on the spot and moved a series of vehicles from the fire area to minimize damage.

Riverbank landslides in Quang Tri threaten houses and roads

On October 8, Mr. Le Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515, confirmed that the search for martyrs' remains in Quang Tri ancient citadel has made much progress, the number of martyrs' remains found is increasing day by day.
Accordingly, from September 22 to October 8, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team 584, Political Department, Quang Tri Provincial Military Command discovered 21 martyrs' remains.
The remains of martyrs were found along with many relics such as infantry shells, helmets, AK bullet boxes...
