Scam for Exporting Labor to South Korea
No agency is authorized to send laborers to South Korea under the E8 visa program, yet numerous individuals continue to collect money from dozens of laborers, leaving them in a desperate situation.
Taking advantage of the South Korea export labor program under the E8 visa program (E8 Program) and the naivety of the people, many individuals have recently organized advertisements and collected money from laborers, promising to send them to South Korea to work. Many laborers lost tens of millions of dong without achieving their dream of exporting labor, improving their family's economy.
On July 17, the Thanh Hóa Police Department initiated a case, prosecuted and temporarily detained Đinh Văn Dương (residing in Hậu Lộc District, Thanh Hóa Province) - Director of Thiện Nhân Service Supply Company with the crime of collecting money from 162 laborers totaling over 2 billion dong under the pretext of sending them to work in South Korea under the E8-1 program…

Bạc Liêu Declares Emergency Situation of Seabed Erosion
On August 7, the Chairman of the Bạc Liêu Provincial People's Committee officially decided to declare an emergency situation of seabed erosion.
The erosion site is located from Km0+046 to Chiên Túp 1 Bridge (bordering Sóc Trăng Province), on the territory of Vĩnh Trạch Đông Commune, Bạc Liêu City, Bạc Liêu Province, with a total length of 100m and a potential erosion of 374m.
Within the 100m eroded dike area, there are two locations: the section bordering Sóc Trăng Province (Km0+046) towards Chiên Túp 1 Bridge, 50m long, with a 5m wide and 1.5m deep erosion; the section from Chiên Túp 1 Bridge towards Sóc Trăng, 50m long, with a 10m wide and 1.5m deep erosion.

Assessment of the Cause of Mass Fish Death in Quảng Bình
Over the past few days, a large number of fish have died in Rào Đá Lake (Trường Xuân Commune, Quảng Ninh District, Quảng Bình Province), and the competent authorities are continuing to investigate the cause.
On August 7, Deputy Chairman of Quảng Ninh District Trần Xuân Tình stated that he had sent specialized departments to take water samples at Rào Đá Lake to inspect and clarify the cause of the fish death.
According to the initial assessment of Trần Hồng Quảng, Director of MTV Khai thác công trình thủy lợi Quảng Bình Company, the fish death in Rào Đá Lake may be due to heat shock.
