Individuals taking people to the emergency room due to traffic accidents are supported with 5 million VND
On the afternoon of August 13, representatives of the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security informed that from September 1, 2026, the Road Traffic Accident Damage Reduction Fund, which includes the content of spending money for victims and rescuers, will be implemented.
According to regulations, the Fund can support injured victims, families of deceased people facing economic difficulties; organizations and individuals directly participating in rescue, taking accident victims to emergency care and propaganda activities to minimize damage caused by traffic accidents.
Notably, Article 12 of Decree No. 279/2025/ND-CP stipulates the maximum spending level. Injured victims with a body injury rate of over 31% to below 81% facing economic difficulties are supported with no more than 10 million VND/person/case; families with deceased victims facing economic difficulties are supported with no more than 20 million VND/case.
In case the victim is injured over 81%, the Fund supports community integration activities and continued development, with a maximum level of 100 million VND/person/time.
For organizations and individuals directly assisting, rescuing, and taking victims to the emergency room, the maximum support level is 10 million VND for organizations and 5 million VND for individuals/incidents.

Ho Chi Minh City does not uniformize staffing, surplus places will be transferred to lacking places
On August 13, the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee sent a document to the advisory and assisting agencies of the City Party Committee; the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City; the Party Committee of Party agencies of the City; the Party Committee of the City People's Committee and the Party Committees of communes, wards, and special zones on providing data on the payroll presence of agencies and units.
Agencies and units are required to truthfully report the number of officials, civil servants, and public employees present as of August 12, 2026. Data must be sent to the City Party Committee's Organization Committee on August 17 for synthesis and reporting to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
Notably, the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee said that it will advise on assigning staff for the period 2027 - 2031 according to the principle of "not egalitarianizing". Accordingly, the number of staff assigned in 2027 will change compared to the number of staff assigned in 2026, and at the same time implement the transfer of staff from surplus places to lacking places.

326 Tuyen Quang candidates complete re-exam procedures, security tightened
In the afternoon of August 13, at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site, 326 candidates who had taken the 2026 high school graduation exam at this exam site began to complete re-exam procedures, listen to the dissemination of exam regulations and exam schedule.
Outside the exam area, many forces such as Minh Xuan Ward Police, Traffic Police, security, health... were mobilized to deploy measures to ensure security and safety.
At the main gate area of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, entry and exit activities are strictly controlled, and the police force checks each person's personal papers before allowing them to enter the exam area. Those who are not in charge are not allowed to enter.
On August 14 and 15, 326 candidates from Tuyen Quang Specialized High School will take the 2nd high school graduation exam again. All candidates will retain their registration numbers and exam room data as in the official exam on June 11 and 12. Candidates are arranged 15 exam rooms.
