Workers poisoned a series of people after eating bread in Ho Chi Minh City
Regarding the suspected food poisoning incident after eating bread at a shop on Nguyen Thai Son Street (Hanh Thong Ward), on the morning of November 8, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that it had recorded reports from 4 hospitals with more than 80 cases, of which 47 cases had been discharged from the hospital. Military Hospital 175 has 47 cases; Tam Anh General Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City has 16 cases; Gia Dinh People's Hospital has 19 cases, Binh Da Hospital has 1 case.
At Gia Dinh People's Hospital alone, on November 5, out of 19 hospitalizations, 1 case was recorded with symptoms of severe abdominal pain and repeated vomiting and diarrhea, with blood culture results positive for Salmonella bacteria.

The reason why traffic lights at many intersections in Hanoi suddenly drop for seconds
At noon on November 8, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police said that the unit is coordinating with specialized units to upgrade the traffic light control system in the area, applying modern technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and real-time data, to improve command, control and reduce traffic congestion.

During the implementation period, the rear light system at some intersections will temporarily not work to serve the upgrading and replacement of control equipment. The Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants strictly follow traffic light signals and instructions from the traffic police force to ensure safety, order and smooth traffic during construction.

Floods on the Luy River rise, many residential areas in Lam Dong are deeply flooded
On the morning of November 8, the leader of the People's Committee of Luong Son commune (Lam Dong province) said that due to heavy rain lasting from the evening of November 7, the flood water on the Luy River rose, causing many residential areas and crop areas in the area to be deeply flooded. According to the Song Luy Hydrological Station, at around 11pm on November 7, the water level reached 28.1m, exceeding alert level II by 0.6m. The large amount of water poured in quickly, causing local flooding in many residential areas along both sides of the river.
Preliminary statistics show that the whole commune has about 170 houses flooded under 1 m, concentrated in Luong Bac, Luong Tay, Luong Binh and Tan Son villages. More than 200 hectares of crops such as corn and vegetables were also damaged by flooding.
