Hoa Binh discovers 2 cases of "flesh-eating" bacteria infection
On September 4, the Provincial General Hospital announced that it was treating two patients with Whitmore's disease, commonly known as a "flesh-eating" bacterial infection.
The first patient is Ha Ngoc T (43 years old, residing in Da Bac district, Hoa Binh), who has been working as a worker in a southern province for more than 10 years, whose daily job is delivering frozen goods to agents.
The second patient is Bui Thi C (59 years old, from Lac Son, Hoa Binh), with a history of diabetes. A week before being admitted to the hospital, the patient developed a high fever, swelling-heat-redness-pain in the right wrist, cough and increasing difficulty breathing.

20 people were assigned to take care of children at the Rose orphanage.
On the afternoon of September 4, information from the Department of Child Protection and Care - Gender Equality, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City said that on the same afternoon, the People's Committee of Trung My Tay Ward sent more than 20 women from the Front Working Committee and the Women's Union of the ward to take care of children at the Hoa Hong shelter, after an incident of child abuse occurred at this facility.
Currently, the Rose Shelter has a total of 86 children. Of these, room 101 has 15 infants under one year old; room 202 has 37 children from one year old to about three years old; 31 children attend school outside at Soc Bong kindergarten; 3 children are in the hospital.
