At about 8:30 p.m. on March 27, from the people's report that at house number 5/1 Du Hang, Tran Nguyen Han ward, Le Chan district, Hai Phong, there were a number of subjects gathering with signs of illegal use of drugs, the Working Group of Team 5 of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) of the City Police in coordination with Tran Nguyen Han Ward Police conducted an inspection.
At the location as reported by the people, the authorities discovered that there were subjects such as Bui Thanh Quang, Vu Khac Huy, Tran Thanh Tung, Dang Xuan Tuan (homeowner) and Tran Van Dong.
Initial investigation shows that Dang Xuan Tuan provided a location for Tuan and other subjects including Vu Khac Huy, Tran Van Dong, Bui Thanh Quang to use drugs. The investigation agency seized at the table in Tuan's house a set of crystal meth made from plastic bottles. In addition, the police seized many of the exhibits from Tran Van Dong, Vu Khac Huy, Tran Thanh Tung, and Bui Thanh Quang through the drugs examination. The subjects confessed to hiding drugs to sell to others for profit.
Recently, the Investigation Police Agency of the City Police has issued a Decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Bui Thanh Quang, Vu Khac Huy, Tran Van Dong, and Tran Thanh Tung for the crime of Illegal drug trafficking. Dang Xuan Tuan was prosecuted for the crime of organizing illegal use of drugs.
Currently, the Hai Phong City People's Procuracy is continuing to coordinate with the Investigation Agency to continue fighting and clarifying the criminal acts of the defendants and related subjects for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
