On 8.4, many people in Dong Phuong commune (Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong) simultaneously reflected the quality of roads in the area without quality assurance. In the afternoon of 8.4, at the construction of the new rural road in Dong Phuong commune, many local people were also present to "supervise" after the concrete incident that "was" occurred in the morning of the same day. Also according to the people, right after the discovery of concrete is not guaranteed quality and reflected to the investor, the unit has lifted the unsecured and rebuilding part.
Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Center for Land Fund Development and Project Management of Kien Thuy district (project investor) said that the project to upgrade and renovate traffic routes to build a model new rural commune in Dong Phuong has been implemented since the beginning of February 2025. The total investment for the project is more than 72 billion VND, with the implementation period 2024-2025.
The project consists of 12 routes with a total length of 7.35km, of which the main axis from the commune center to the district road and the inter-commune road (the section reported by people) is 1.4km, with a road surface width of 9m.
Noon 8.4, the unit received feedback from the people in Dong Phuong commune reflecting the construction of the manhole was not guaranteed. Workers at the ready -to -shore manhole casting work and built an additional 20cm shore to block water. However, due to young concrete pouring, there is a situation that broke as people reflect.
Right at noon 8.4, the investor thoroughly grasped the contractor, requested to demolish the entire project that was not guaranteed and fixed immediately. "In addition to monitoring the project, we also have community supervision groups, when people discover and have opinions on the quality of the project or inadequate in design, the unit will coordinate the contractor to urgently inspect and overcome immediately if it is reflected. Previously, when the unit inspected and developed the area of the mass canal 1 construction wrong design, the investor also asked the contractor to remove and re -develop the district project." Thuy said.
The representative of the investor also said that by 8.4, the project reached 40% of the volume, of which the drainage pipe was nearly completed. In the current favorable weather conditions, the unit strives to complete in April, put into use on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong 13.5.
