According to statistics, from December 15, 2024 to March 30, 2025, there were 97 road traffic accidents in the city, killing 55 people and injuring 57 people. Of which, there were 39 cases involving road freight vehicles (accounting for 40%), killing 28 people (accounting for 51%), injuring 13 people (accounting for 23%).
The General Control of road freight vehicles aims to continue to effectively implement Directive No. 23/CT-TTg dated July 26, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for road freight business activities in the new situation; proactively preventing traffic accidents related to road freight vehicles.
