Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee has just chaired a meeting on the authority to decide on exemption and reduction of residential land use fees for people with meritorious services when the State allocates land, changes land use purposes or recognizes residential land use rights in the province.
According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam, the implementation of regimes and policies for people with meritorious services must be implemented promptly and in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights of beneficiaries.
Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to urgently review the entire process; advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and supplement the steps to implement land use fee exemption and reduction in the internal process of resolving administrative procedures in the field of land.
Advising on the promulgation of legal documents specifically regulating the settlement of related procedures, in accordance with current regulations. Since the 2024 Land Law took effect and the implementation of the 2-level local government model, the exemption and reduction of land use fees for people with meritorious services in the province has arisen some obstacles due to the lack of specific guidance on authority and implementation procedures.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested relevant units to urgently complete the legal basis, remove difficulties in resolving procedures, and ensure that the State's preferential policies are fully and promptly implemented for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
