In recent years, the digital transformation process in Vietnam and Southeast Asia has been taking place strongly, with the participation of the Government, ministries and the business community. Awareness of the value of data is increasingly enhanced, many organizations and businesses have invested heavily in collecting, storing and effectively exploiting data to serve production and business activities and make decisions.
Most recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued Decision No. 3152/QD-BKHCN approving the Data Strategy to 2030, identifying data as a strategic infrastructure, playing a key role in innovation and national digital transformation. However, in parallel with the speed of data digitalization, Vietnam also faces the increasing risk of data loss and information leakage.
In that context, FSI Technology Investment, Trade and Development Joint Stock Company in collaboration with DDS Japan officially introduced the FSI DDS Data Recovery & Protection Center (FSI DDS - Data Recovery & Protection Center) in Hanoi, with the goal of bringing technology and processes to restore and protect international standard data closer to Vietnamese users and businesses.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Nguyen Hung Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FSI DDS - said that in response to those urgent needs, the FSI DDS Data Restoration & Protection Center was established to provide solutions to restore, protect and erase data safely, helping Vietnamese users access services according to international standards with high reliability and security.
Data is an important asset of every individual and organization. Proactively restoring and protecting data is not only a technical need, but a part of a digital safety culture. FSI DDS was built with the mission of providing Vietnamese people with a reliable, transparent and international standard data protection service" - Mr. Nguyen Hung Son shared.
According to Ms. Do Thu Thuy - CEO of FSI DDS, in the first phase, FSI DDS will deploy 5 specialized solution groups including: Data recovery, data protection, complete data collection, digital forensics and consulting & implementing solutions to prevent data theft - forming a closed ecosystem, helping users and businesses proactively protect the entire data life cycle, from storage, operation to safe destruction.
In particular, leading Japanese skilled engineers are working directly in Vietnam, responsible for training and monitoring service quality, helping Vietnamese customers experience services equivalent to Japan.
At the same time, FSI DDS's system is equipped with internal security infrastructure that meets international standards, with two specialized defense layers.
The combination of this technology and process creates a three-layered protective wall for FSI DDS preventing input attacks, preventing spread inside and preventing stolen data from the system, ensuring absolute safety for all customer data throughout the processing.
