This educational app is not only a learning platform, but also a creative trading platform, helping young people develop their potential and contribute to society.

On December 8, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union announced that the Youth Media Center (Central Committee of the Youth Union) and the Save the Children Organization in Vietnam (SCI) have just jointly launched an innovative educational application for children and adolescents called Generation Hope.

The application is built on the SHIFT skills training toolkit, aiming to develop soft skills and promote the active participation of the young generation in social issues. The toolkit helps young people design and implement their own community communication campaigns.

Evaluating the application development process, Mr. Le Duy Hung Thinh - Acting Director of the Youth Media Center - said: Generation Hope is a place for young people to realize their ideas and projects, creating connections with organizations willing to invest resources. This is not only a learning platform, but also a creative trading floor, helping young people develop their potential and contribute to society.

During the application development and testing phase, the Organizing Committee organized nearly 50 seminars, received more than 1,000 opinions from experts, teachers and students; the application reached nearly 102,000 visits and received 32 potential projects.

I also hope this will be the starting point for positive communication initiatives of young people and implemented by young people."

At the launching event, the 4 best practical application projects were presented for the Organizing Committee and experts to comment and have plans to support implementation, including: Project to train and guide self-protection skills for students (Luong Yen Secondary School); project to disseminate knowledge and skills to prevent sexual abuse for students (Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School); communication campaign to guide the community to join hands to implement Zero Carbon in Vietnam (Quang Trung High School) and communication campaign to prevent fraudulent behaviors and use smart social networks (Hoang Cau High School).
