The fair has over 120 booths, held for 5 days (from December 27 to 31) on Dang Van Binh Street, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province.
In particular, the National Agricultural Extension Center supports 70 agricultural booths free of charge. At the 2024 Mekong Delta Agricultural Products Exhibition Fair, there will be a common space to display products: agricultural, forestry and fishery products, processed foods, OCOP products, plant varieties, livestock, agricultural supplies, advanced technological processes in agricultural production, handicraft and fine art products, consumer goods, etc.
Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee agreed to assign the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the National Agricultural Extension Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) to organize the Fair.
This is one of the agricultural promotion activities with high economic and social significance, aiming to introduce and promote the potential and strengths of agricultural products in the provinces in the region. The fair is also an opportunity for management agencies, scientists and farmers to exchange, meet, discuss and cooperate, transfer technical advances, expand product markets, promote investment in agricultural products and projects, etc.
