On April 20, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that a traffic accident had just occurred in Quan Son commune, killing one person.
Accordingly, at about 7:40 am on the same day, at Km 148+100 National Highway 217 (section passing through Quan Son commune, Thanh Hoa province), a traffic accident occurred between a tractor-trailer with license plate 36H-207. xx pulling a trailer with license plate 36RM-008. xx driven by Mr. N.V.C (born in 1979, residing in Hop Tien commune, Thanh Hoa province) and a motorbike with license plate 36BH-011. xx driven by Mr. L.V. T (born in 1982, residing in Quan Son commune, Thanh Hoa province) traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, the accident killed Mr. L.V. T on the spot, and the two vehicles were damaged. The initial cause was determined to be that the tractor-trailer driver drove the vehicle in the wrong lane.
Currently, functional forces are continuing to investigate, clarify and handle according to regulations.
