Implementing the direction of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) on checking and handling reflected information, the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police assigned Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 to urgently investigate the incident.
Through working, functional forces invited driver N.V.T. (born in 1988, residing in Thanh Duc commune, Tay Ninh province) to the headquarters to clarify the violation.
At the police station, driver T. admitted that at about 10 am on March 4, 2026, he drove a worker transport vehicle on DT793 road (section passing through Tra Vong commune) and went in the wrong lane, exactly as reflected in the clip provided by the people.
Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 made a record of handling this driver for the act of "driving in the wrong lane". According to the provisions of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government, the above act is fined from 4 to 6 million VND, and at the same time 2 points are deducted from the driver's license.
The Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police said that receiving, verifying and promptly handling feedback from people through the VNeTraffic application shows the determination of functional forces in ensuring traffic order and safety, with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".
