On August 29, the Gia Lai Provincial Police Investigation Agency said that it had temporarily detained Do Tan Thanh (born 1998, residing in Tuy Phuoc Dong commune) and Pham Viet Quoc (born 1999, residing in Quy Nhon ward) to investigate the act of organizing the illegal use of narcotics.
The Investigation Police Agency also temporarily detained Truong Hoang Hiep (born 1992, residing in Quy Nhon Bac ward) to investigate the act of illegally trading drugs.
According to initial investigation, at about 1 am on August 26, during an administrative inspection at an apartment in FLC Sea Tower Quy Nhon Building (Quy Nhon Nam ward), Quy Nhon Nam Ward Police discovered 4 people present here, including Thanh, Quoc and 2 women showing suspicious signs.
Through quick inspection, Thanh, Quoc and a woman named Phuong tested positive for drugs. The ward police made a record and temporarily seized related exhibits.
Through struggle, initially Thanh and Quoc confessed to buying drugs, then renting an apartment to use.
Expanding the investigation, the police force investigated the related people and urgently arrested Hiep. Through a quick check, Hiep also tested positive for drugs.
The Investigation Police Agency of Gia Lai Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and clarify the roles of related people and handle them according to legal regulations.
