Implementing a peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes and law violations caused by teenagers, Rach Gia Ward Police (An Giang) have strengthened patrols and inspections in the area. Through this, many groups of teenagers gathered in the early morning, temporarily detaining 40 modified motorbikes and many dangerous weapons.
According to the Provincial Police's Plan, the peak period is from April 20 to June 20, 2026. During the peak period, the Rach Gia Ward Police force strengthens patrols and inspections at roads, areas and key hours; coordinates with security and order forces at the grassroots level, schools, families and mass organizations to manage and educate young people at risk of violating the law. At the same time, promote propaganda and dissemination of legal education to raise awareness of law compliance among young people.

Previously, at about 2 am on May 3, during patrols to ensure security and order in the area, Rach Gia Ward Police discovered many groups of young people gathering to drive motorbikes in groups, showing signs of causing insecurity and public disorder, so they conducted inspections and handled them. Through this, functional forces invited many related cases to work, made management and education records, and made commitments not to repeat offenses.
Through inspection, the Ward Police temporarily seized 40 motorbikes, mostly modified motorbikes, and also seized many dangerous weapons such as knives, slingshots and some items capable of causing injury to continue verifying and handling according to legal regulations.
Rach Gia Ward Police said that they will continue to drastically implement measures to prevent, combat, and reduce law violations among youth; and at the same time call on families, schools and the whole society to join hands in managing and educating youth, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.
