According to initial information, at around 12:00 on March 29, a fishing boat of local people was anchored in the Nhat Le River (in Dong Hai Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province) when it suddenly caught fire.
After receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to put out the fire.
At the scene, the fishing boat's upper body was almost completely burned, the wooden frame was charred black, seriously deformed.
The soldiers wore protective gear and life jackets, focusing on firefighting on the deck.
At around 12:30 the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
