Quang Tri - Two fishing vessels operating illegally at sea were discovered and arrested by the patrol boat squadron.

On March 26, the Border Guard of Quang Tri province announced that it had just discovered and arrested two fishing vessels for illegal fishing at sea.

Previously, on the morning of March 25, the patrol boat squadron of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard discovered fishing boat QB 11670TS owned by Mr. Tran Van Bach (born in 1994, residing in Nghia An commune, Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province) illegally exploiting aquatic products by scraping.

At about 8:30 a.m. the same day, when 6.6 nautical miles from the coast, the patrol boat squadron approached the fishing boat and made a record of illegal fishing.

Then, at 9:00 a.m. the same day, about 5 nautical miles from the coast, the patrol boat squadron continued to discover the fishing boat QB-93844-TS captained by Mr. Le Van Long (born in 1991, residing in Quarter 4, Cua Viet Town, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province) exploiting seafood in the wrong area.

Quang Tri Border Guard has brought the ship owner and vehicle to shore for handling. Currently, the patrol team has handed over the dossier to Trieu Van Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard) for further handling according to the provisions of law.
